The Luck of the Irish…..

My great grandparents were from Ireland. And they had the beautiful Irish accent. They came to the states when they first got married. My great grand mother saw the building of the Titanic in Belfast. Everyday she would go to the dock and watch it’s progression. I always had a love for the accent and when I ever I hear someone speak I can only be reminded of them.

The caller had the most lovely Irish accent I have ever heard in a long time. Most callers are British which also memorizes me. So when he began calling the numbers I had an urge to run a throw something green on!

I couldn’t get under 2 numbers when the cards turned to a shamrock green. It must have been the Irish green mood I was in because I didn’t mind! The caller rhymed and I was swept away listening even though he didn’t bring much Irish luck!

I enjoyed playing at Bingo Palace as it brought me back to my ancestors and their roots. All the while my imagination got away with me as I felt like I could almost here them speaking to me. Even though i didn't win i still felt the luck of the Irish.

Big Bucks Bingo where the winning is easy an a whole lot of hollering BINGO is going on! I get comfy in the .10 bingo room with my $20 in bingo bucks, hoping to convert it into cash. I purchase 30 cards that cost me $3.00 and my bankroll dwindles to $17. I was hoping there was some free cards with my purchase, but no such luck. If I am going to win, it will be fair and square.

Things are not looking too bad as I need 2 numbers on a lot of my cards. In the next call 2 of my cards turn yellow with 1tg! I-24 or G-49 are the numbers I need. I have a good feeling as I start to sit up straight in my chair and stray away from chat to watch the next ball come out. The caller announces…….I-24 and I see red!!!! Phewww and I am the only winner! $43.55 is added to my account and i have just turned my bingo bucks into cash. Nothing is more awesome than to win on your very first game of the night!

Tonight I hollered BINGO for one of my favorite loves…hard, cold cash! As I hear the sweet sound of cha-ching I am off to take a bath. A bubble bath that is! I am going to need a lot more cash to fill my bathtub up!

South Beach Bingo - details

My first visiting at South Beach Bingo reminded me of one of the films that I could never forget.

Powers of three men... Wow! I was so speechless when I first saw this amazing film. No words could ever described how well presented and it showed such a beautiful side to Ireland. One of the most powerful, inspiring and wonderful documentary films that I have ever seen. Three men who are so blessed to have found each other surfing the coast off Ireland. The togetherness of three young men learning to become one with the power of the ocean was so inspirational and spiritual to see. I felt absolutely gripped by this film and it was so beautiful and poignant that even though I'm not much a surfer, I couldn't stop watching it. I loved the way the whole atmosphere of the film comes across as a love for the waves and the music really captured the feeling of wishing I was there..

Even though I couldn't be at Ireland at the moment, I found this place, South beach through LBB where I could bring my beach bag packed with sun screen lotions, umbrella, chair and towels...
