A Gold Fish doesn’t have to be 24k to want it……..

I remember going to fairs when I was a child and trying my darnedest to win the gold fish in the little glass bowls! Whenever the carnival came to town you wouldn’t find me at the cotton candy stand. Nope I was flipping pennies on a glass plate to win my fish. I would come home with an arm full of gold fish grinning ear to ear! On the other hand mom was ready to wring my neck! They never seemed to last too long and would die within a week. I would cry and cry over those goldfish. To this day I still love gold fish.

There is one gold fish there promises to never die and that is at Big Heart Bingo! Living up to their name they had a big heart in giving me 5bbs. I wanted to play something different and settled on Scratch Cards.

There were three scratch cards under Instant Games to choose from. Lucky Fish grabbed my attention. I entered the room and lo and behold not only was there a fish displayed it was a shiny, sparkling gold fish! I can bet as little as .10 a card but if choose to be a risk taker today and be $1.00 a card. Some days I like my bingo bucks to last and other days I want to make a quick profit.

The symbols on my scratch card are everything in a fish’s underwater world. A variety of sea shells including star fish and snails. The jackpot prize is to match three gold fish for a whooping 1000 credits times my bet. As place my bet I can hear the deep sea bubbles. I choose the convenient tab “Scratch All” that automatically uncovers each square for me.

The first card gives me nothing. On my second bet I get three star fish and double up my winnings. I don’t play scratch cards often, but from time to time it’s a welcoming change to try something different.

There is another kind of gold fish I love too! Those yummy little gold fish shaped cheesy crackers……yummy! If you have not tried them, it’s a must. You will fall for them hook, line and sinker. Just don’t hook my gold fish in the process.
