Vic's Bingo Review

Sep 11, 2012

There are so many eras that I’d like to go back and visit. When I feel like a bit of the 1950’s, I go to Vic’s Bingo. The logo has that retro look with all the current games you can imagine.

I entered the Quarters 75 ball bingo room where the pattern was the Movie Projector. Of course the cards were $0.25 each and I bought the max of 24 bingo cards. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a BOGOF sale going on so I was headed into the game with exactly what I paid for.

I’d never played for this unique pattern before but the prize was up to $60 with just 24 other players in the room. With any luck, I had a shot at winning. With such a cool pattern, I couldn’t help but think about some of my favorite movies. I have too many to mention but anything with Julia Roberts in it is one that I love.

Anyway, the game was in full swing and I had to focus. I willed out each of my numbers which didn’t work by the way. We were just over 20 calls out and I was not doing too badly with only 4tg. Suddenly my card went purple for 3tg followed by another and another. At 40 calls, I could get past the 3tg mark.

Someone had to be close and I lost all hope. My feeling was right because a player took the whole prize all to themselves.

It was one of those days when I got so annoyed that I couldn’t even stick around for another game. I closed the lid on Vic’s Bingo and put on Pretty Woman.
