Jul 15, 2009
Parlay Entertainment Inc., the Canadian provider of Internet and TV bingo software solutions, has achieved a full e-gambling licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission and opened up a subsidiary branded Parlay Game Services on the island, situated in the English Channel.

Perry Malone, Chief Technology Officer for Parlay said, "We are thrilled to launch a new generation and dimension of game services out of Alderney. This becomes the central liquidity solution for all our licensees, as well as the platform for a number of exciting remote gaming services open to all operators."

The Head of E-Commerce Development for the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, Robin Le Prevost commented, "We are delighted to welcome Parlay to Alderney, we continue to see a substantial migration towards Alderney by many of the world's best gaming brands who recognise that as an international base Alderney has no equal as a safe, secure and trusted jurisdiction supported by a world class technical infrastructure and commercial environment."

The granting of the Alderney licence follows on last year's acceptance of Parlay Entertainment's software for operation within Alderney (see previous InfoPowa report). At the time, Parlay was required to demonstrate that its software complies with Alderney's rigorous operating requirements and high standards of regulation. The acceptance of Parlay software for operation within Alderney - a UK 'white listed' jurisdiction in advertising terms - added to Parlay's existing gaming licenses and certifications in Malta, the UK and the Isle of Man.
