New online bingo product to be developed for UK radio stations

The Heart group of UK radio stations is to have its own online bingo site following a deal signed with software provider and operator Gamesys this week.

Gamesys is well experienced in the online gambling industry, operating the popular Jackpotjoy brand.In previous b2b deals, Gamesys has developed two online bingo brands, Sun Bingo and News of the World Bingo for newspapers in the News International stable. More recently Gamesys was selected by Harrah's Interactive Entertainment to be its partner in a UK-facing Internet bingo venture branded Caesars Bingo Online.

Lee Fenton, COO at Gamesys, says that the company's business strategy is to partner with major companies. Illustrating this, he said: "We now run bingo for Europe's largest tabloid newspapers, the UK's largest radio station and the world's largest casino."
