A Promotional Error Cost Caesars Online Bingo Thousands
It is common place for bingo sites to offer a bonus on deposits. But Caesars Bingo had a glitch in their promotional offer that ended up costing them tens of thousands of pounds to British players.

Customers were offered a “200% welcome bonus” which was intended for the deposit and bonus to be wagered before a withdrawal could be made.

The error allowed players to wager the bonus without having to wager the deposit. This was no risk and pure profit, and for some players they took full advantage of the mistake.

A player who chooses to remain anonymous collected £460 after staking £200. The 29 year old doctor added: "We stumbled across it by chance, and couldn't believe how stupid Caesars had been. We told all of our friends and family about it. In total, our family has made more than £3,000 from this glitch and one friend paid for his wedding with his winnings”.

The Las Vegas casino Caesars Bingo website paid players in light of the faulty promotion but had this to say: "If they are taking advantage of something that is our error they will get to keep the advantage. If there's fraud then there's an issue." Saying that some players' accounts have been temporarily suspended pending an investigation.

The promotional terms and conditions have since been corrected.
