Bingo Halls in Ontario Installing Slot-Like Machines

Although the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has banned slot machines from bingo halls there seems to be a fine line between electronic bingo devices and slots. The Ontario government website states the introduction of break open tickets, bingo and instant games all played on electronic devices, are for the revitalization of bingo halls.

An example of the revenue generated by the electronic pull tab bingo and instant bingo is in Minnesota after a billed was approved indicates it could generate 2.3 billion in that state alone according to the State Lottery and State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board.
