Mecca Bingo Celebrates the Diamond Jubilee and Raises Money for the Cause
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations have taken to the Mecca Bingo clubs up around the UK. The event has helped to increase attention to their charity fundraising efforts for the Marie Curie Cancer Care appeal.

Mecca Bingo's online site as well as their traditional land based clubs have once again committed this year to the cause and raising money for the charity which aids ill patients and their families.

One Mecca Bingo club in Doncaster is going all out in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee by hosting two parties today. The first is described as a Royal-themed Blooming Great Tea Party in an effort to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care, with bingo players and staff encouraged to dress in their finest including fancy hats or come dressed as a member of the Royal Family.

The evening will host another party described as the culmination of a Kings and Queens of Amusements promotion. Bingo players were given the opportunity to nominate themselves as either the King or Queen of the club. The winners will receive Mecca Bingo vouchers.

These events are expected to bring in a fair amount of cash for the cause and show the dedication of Mecca Bingo and their staff.
