EspaceJeux to offer online lottery ticket sale from August 27

A new lottery service will be available to Canadians from August 27 – the online purchase of Loto Quebec tickets through the provincial lottery-operated EspaceJeux online gambling site.

The tickets on offer will include Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, Quebec 49, Banco and Extra draws.

It was stated in the company’s press statement: “Consumers who buy lottery products online using their computer, smartphone or tablet computer will notice the advantages and user-friendliness of Loto-Quebec’s site.

“By using the Internet to place their lottery bets, players won’t miss any draws, they will be able to view the results of the bets they placed on the web and save their favourite selections.

“In Canada, the Atlantic Lotteries Corporation (ALC) and the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) have been selling their lottery products on the web for a number of years already as do other organisations throughout the world.”

The novelty will accompany Loto-Quebec’s Mise-O-Jeu parlay sports wagering service introduced in March and a new mobile results notification application for iPhone and Android devices launched in May.
