Caesars Interactive Acquires Buffalo Studios’ Bingo Blitz
Buffalo Studios, creator of Bingo Blitz, has been acquired by Caesars Interactive. The acquisition comes just one year since the acquisition of the popular online gambling application, Slotomania by Playtika.

Caesars Interactive was recently granted a licensing to legally operate online poker in Nevada. Could these Facebook games have a future in real money gambling? The application to acquire these seems to be Bingo Bash developed by Bash Gaming. They have had quite a bit of media attention due to the success of the brand as well as the corporate name change from BitRyhmes to Bingo Bash. In the top ten list of games in the gambling category, Bingo Blitz comes in at #6 with Bingo Bash at #5. Transforming this into a real money gambling application could launch it higher in the ranks but that's only a dream at this point of course. Poker first then bingo! Zynga's Texas Hold'em Poker reigns at #1 with Caesars' other acquisition, Slotomania, coming in at #2.

There are 74 lucky Buffalo Studios employees that will remain onboard and continue to work in Santa Monica studio. Any additional information regarding the terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed.
