Increase in Tax Causes Top Ten Bingo to Sell Clubs
There was major concern for the future of the bingo industry in the UK after the announcement of 20% Gross Profits Tax. The Chief Executive of the Bingo Association had even expressed his concern at how the tax increase would make it difficult for bingo clubs around the country to survive. The tax strain had also led to the closure of one club per month on average and now there are stories circling that Top Ten Bingo clubs are being sold.

One club located in Tunstall is said to be up for sale with a listing price of £100,000. The sale will be completed on 18th July. There's also another Top Ten club in Somercotes going for the same price. On 23rd July both Top Ten Bingo in Darlington and Stanley will be sold with a listing price of £65,000.

Top Ten Bingo has plans to sell off more of their bingo clubs as they move forward in building up their Apollo brand. The auctioneer for the clubs is Pugh so you can check out the details on their website.
