The partnership between the open gambling platform provider, Betware and Microgaming's Prima online bingo network has successfully bid in a public tender by the Danish state gambling group Danske Spil, which they will now provide with online and mobile bingo and instant games.
When the deal becomes valid, Betware will deliver Microgaming's Bingo software to Danske Spil through a supplier agreement with Prima Networks Limited, which will enable Danske Spil to offer a full suite of Microgaming's online Bingo games to its users, along with a range of instant games.
It has been specified that all the content that will become available to Danske Spil customers will be optimized for different platforms, including mobile, tablet, Smart TV and desktop.
According to Søren Kofoed Weeke, CIO of Danske Spil, “With our choice, we have found the right supplier to help develop our product and create new and exciting experiences for our customers. The supplier will become part of the family of partners who deliver games to Danske Spil's customers.”
On behalf of Prima Networks, its director Loraine Schoevers commented: “There's no doubt that this contract affirms our position in Denmark as the leading software supplier and furthermore in regulated markets as a whole.”
Another comment arrived from Stefan Hrafnkelsson, Betware's CEO, who noted: “The excellence of Betware's technology and the openness of its platform will allow Danske Spil to offer Microgaming's best of breed bingo and instant games to Danish players, strengthening the lottery's already impressive position on the market.”
