Online Bingo Network Merger, Now What?
We all have our favorite online bingo sites and it's a fact that many of us don't like change. What happens when our virtual bingo stomping ground switches networks? What does that mean to us as players?

The news that Winners Bingo Network (WBN) and Live Bingo Network (LBN) were merging broke about six months ago. LBN is home to popular sites such as Landmark Bingo, Rogers Bingo and others. It was actually a smaller network in comparison to others in the industry but now LBN is comprised of 31 online bingo sites.

Most recently Bingo Boat made the switch to LBN followed by another ten sites. Among the latest sites to join LBN include: Bingo Legacy, Pay Day Bingo, Velvet Bingo, Bubblegum Bingo, Bingo Flame, Eat Sleep Bingo, Lucky Touch Bingo, 7 Bingo, Guau Bingo and Fun Bingo.

So what does a larger network mean to players? Forming a network of sites increases both the jackpots and the number of players in the bingo rooms. There may also be linked bingo games meaning that when you log into a bingo site within the network to play a linked game, you are playing among all the players across all the sites within that network for one prize. Since prizes are driven by ticket sales, some see this as a plus due to the boosted jackpots but others say it's next to impossible to win with so many roomies.

When an online bingo site makes a major change like switching networks, be sure to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions before you do anything. They may have adopted rules that may affect your account. For example, with this recent merger players may be allowed to have one account to use across the networks sites. If you have an account with several brands you may be required to close them out and select one account. Breaking these rules can prevent you from being permitted to withdraw.

We would like to hear feedback from LBB'ers on whether they prefer a smaller or larger online bingo network and share your thoughts on LBN.
