Bingo Hall Shooting Leaves One Man Dead – Pro or Anti-Gun Policy?

Bingo Hall Shooting Leaves One Man Dead – Pro or Anti-Gun Policy?
There are strong opinions on gun control in the United States. On side of the fence are those that oppose guns feeling it would escalate the epidemic of shootings taking place across the country as anger and impulse would cause a trigger happy public. On the other hand, the pro “conceal and carry” group say it would reduce violence and the number of shootings. For example, if an armed lunatic walks into a bingo hall and starts shooting the potential victims have a means of protection to stop him dead in his tracks preventing a massacre.

Both sides have very valid points and in the case of the Waco shooting in Texas that took place at local Bingo Hall Buckeye on Wednesday, it could have turned out much uglier. The suspect was killed by security officer Jimmy Parker of Pro Security Group in struggle after he tried to grab his gun. The officer received a gunshot wound to the left hand but was able to get control of the weapon when he shot the suspect in the upper torso.

He has been identified as Juan Marcus Howard, 35, of Waco. Howard is no stranger to in breaking the law having been convicted of the robbery of a Waco Genco credit union in 2001 and was sentenced to serve 10 years in federal prison. He violated his parole in April 2014 and was sent back to federal prison for 12 more months according to federal records.
