Instead of having affiliates that are random gambling sites, Big Heart Bingo allows all registered charities to function as affiliates for them. When a player signs up with Big Heart Bingo, they choose which charity will receive percentages for their deposits and play.

How Does the Charity Thing Work?

Players are allowed to enter the name of any registered charity, and then the charity is contacted. That charity is then given the opportunity to serve as an affiliate. When the charity serves as an affiliate, 50% of the net profit from that player is given to the charity each month. Some charities have refused to join, claiming that joining Big Heart Bingo's list of charities serves as an endorsement for online gaming, but I think it's short-sighted. If people are going to gamble anyway, then at least some of the money they spend should go to charities.

First Impressions

Big Heart Bingo has a clean, easy-to-understand website that clearly explains what they're all about. It's easy to register, and you can see the bingo rooms immediately upon registration. You can only chat once you've made your first deposit, but it looks like players really chat in the bingo rooms, a definite plus in my opinion. You don't get real money for free play without a deposit, but you do get ten Bingo Bucks to play other games with when you start out. You can use them to earn loyalty points by playing slots, roulette, and keno for Bingo Bucks. One big plus for the site is that it actually recommends running Firefox, and I'm a big Firefox fan!

Big Heart Bingo is a UK bingo site. They offer 90-ball bingo, and do not offer 75-ball US bingo. This is a big minus in my opinion, as I'm a big fan of 75-ball bingo and don't care much for the UK version. Most online bingo sites today offer both types of bingo, so it's surprising that Big Heart Bingo only has the UK version. On the other hand, they have dozens of different slots games. They also have roulette and keno available. Many online bingo sites have a wider variety of games. On the other hand, it's really easy to access the additional games, and they play nicely with fairly good odds.
