I think the best thing to do is have a statement from the owner of Bingo Angels. I can't help but feel Cheryl's hands are tied.

I know if i owned this site i would want to clear it up in a heart beat.

It probably won't get cleared up that fast with at least two different copyright infringements looming around the Angel's head instead of a halo.
Just my educated and humble opinion.  If a business has to start out this way, like hijacking my email and knowing I am a NBB member but claiming I'm a (old) BB member, for example, only more questionable things are bound to happen.  I would like to see any business thrive, this one included, but I don't like seeing Laura and Billy and Tinkerbell (uh-huh) used like this.  Again, make your own opinions, please, but take Zuga's advice and proceed with caution.

We never post on forums but due to the seriousness of the situation where in a very irresponsible way, the Marketing Manager, which I assume is behind the strategy of the brand, is making Bingo players believe, that they are (or were) behind the success of Bingo Billy the brand, that has cost millions of dollars, and a lot of sacrifice to another company, is just disgusting.

This only shows how low a company can go to make money, to the point they are willing to tricking members by attaching a good name to a brand that has nothing to do with the success of the other.

Cheryl, you've used Bingo Billy (font included so that there are no questions in players mind that you're talking to the Bingo Billy they know) on mailers, and this represents clear evidence of an infringement. Confirmation that this can be used in court if you don't desist, has been received today.

One more time, Bingo Billy is a trademark, protected by the USA and European laws and I politely advise you to stop using the name to advertise your business.

While we won’t be posting anymore on this thread, I’ll be watching closely as I’d love to hear ‘your facts’, notabout the use of Bingo Billy as there is NO discussion or facts that you can provide here, being that name a trademark, but now my interest goes to the FACT that members that ARE NOT or WERE NOT Bingo Billy members are getting your emails. 

There are SPAM regulations and you’re aware of that, so I’ll continue advising our members (which are 100% loyal to us- something you must have missed when planning your strategy) to report you as a SPAM and we’ll proceed legally if you don’t stop with this dishonest and illegal practice.

Well its been almost a week and still no answer from Cheryl (bingo angels).

How much more time you need to get your facts correct?

Im free to say these guys have NO idea what they put themselves into. Its very shady operation you have here Cheryl.

UPDATE

There has been some interesting development. Apparently BingoAngels owners have agreed to remove all references from Bingo Billy from the web.

This is definitely a move in the right direction. However we have to wait and see if they really pull it through.

Also they been ignoring this thread for 10 or so days, and there r still some questions left without answer.

I will consider removing the warning in case BA representatives address this forum and its members and answer questions posted in this thread.

If Bingo Angels do indeed remove references, my question is why did it happen in the first place? If they want to gain the confidence of our members i hope they will come forward with a statement.

It would also be nice to know if New Billy Bingo has any feedback on the current developments.

TBH I dont think they will address these questions. I think they are just hoping it will go away.

I would also like to know what are their future plans and how they plan to conduct their business from now on.

Once you break the trust its very hard to gain it back. I think BA Reps should do the right thing and step in and give us some answers.
