The one number that always sticks with me is N44. Playing bingo at the senior center was a must do on my mom's calendar. Often she would take one of us with her. At one of these games the oldest member of the group, in her late 90's, reacted to that ball being called by saying 44?

loudly enough so that everyone heard it over the sound of the daubers.
After that any time N44 was called the whole group would say on queue, "44?" It became so ingrained in them that it spread to the big bingo hall at
Chicken Ranch where hundreds and hundreds of people played. They even brought in bus loads of people from other cities to play these games and all picked up the habit of saying it!
