Reversing a Cash Out and Winning Again.......The Impossible Dream?
« on: September 14, 2012, 11:48:33 AM »
Hiya LBB'ers,

Reading posts about reversing withdrawals put me to wondering. Is it really possible to win again? Can lightening strike twice? I don't think there has been a single time it has paid off for me. Lady luck swoops in and out so fast and never stays long enough.

So if you are like me and you end up losing it all, i have the loaded question for you. Why on earth do we continue to do it?

It has happened to me but it's rare. The wins aren't nearly as big as the original but it has given me a few extra bucks. Mainly the losses are brutal yet I have still opted to reverse. Why? Well, I think "what if". Maybe I'm on a winning streak? It's really not that thrilling when I see my balance dwindle down but I can't help myself.

I've never reversed on bingo but I have, of course, on casinos.  I wonder why my brain tells me there is something very different about reversing at bingo sites compared to casinos?

I think you are on to something blueday. Ive been more successful on a bingo site than playing casino games. My money lasts me a while on bingo. As much as i enjoy playing them slots are a money pit. Im luckier on bingo sites for the most part.

I have NEVER won on a reversed withdrawel. But in fact we are stupid. Once every now and then we win, we withdraw, and then we think, and think, it went so good...........lets give it another spin (cause it went so good) and then we think again, aaaahhhh what the %&^*%, let's give it another go.....................................and we end up losing it all......., why, because we think we are better or superior to the slot machine, or just think our luck just can run out........but we aren't and we do (By we i mean i)

If you could give and receive your money at anytime, like at a regular casino, there would be no problem in reversing a withdrawal.  I am sure there are several psychological issues that go on, and I'm pretty sure the bingo halls and casinos know most of them and use them to their advantage.  It's a business, and they can't just give it away all the time.

I don't have the experience of many cashouts at a casino site, so can't really give input, but several on bingo sites.  The majority of the time, I lose it all, but a few times it's paid off.  It is unfair to have to wait a week or more before you can deposit or participate in specials.  It is brutal at times.  You miss playing.  You miss your roomies.  You mostly miss having control over your money!

Anyone else have conspiracy fantasies about the sites KNOWING your playing patterns and KNOWING you are going to take your winnings and blow it all on slots?  It sometimes feels like they turn the switch, curl their moustaches, and let out sinister noises of glee that they have you snared.  I know that's (probably) not happening, but then again, I've read some stuff about a site that totally made it so players can't win, and joked about it while doing so.

Maybe it's like the 7 stages of death thing, anger, denial, etc...up to ...Acceptance.

we get mad we can't play because we are withdrawing and have to wait.  grrr.

We start to deny it's a bad idea to reverse.

okay, I forget all the stages and am tired and don't want to look it up right now.  But probably bargaining is one.

We bargain with ourselves.  Okay, if I reverse it, I will absolutely save half of it for a definite withdrawal.  Well, maybe I'll just go until i'm down to the mimimum for w/d.  Okay, I'll just spend a little more I know I can win.

By the time we are down to zero, nothing left to do but ACCEPT our idiotic selves for the suckers we were.  Then later we accept some other things about ourselves as well, and the casinos, and the facts of gambling and life.  Hopefully we wait an appropriate amount of time to mourn the loss of our happy happy feeling about the money that was going to be on the way.  We probably could have used it to pay something and now have to scramble as usual.  Back in the same boat, rowing down the same river, dreaming our impossible dreams.
