My Charity Bingo Review

I don’t want to sound either harsh or perhaps even nihilistic but when I think how much people are distant from each other today, it’s hard to believe that charity still exists. Sometimes it’s hard to make a difference between an honest feeling when I person has an inner need to help and helping someone just to get a recognition. Without being cynical, it was a real, positive surprise when I saw that a bingo site has decided to help many charitable causes. A site that has gotten my attention was My Charity Bingo. The principle - aka how things work on this site, is quite simple. Every player chooses a charity and a portion of each deposit goes towards the chosen charity. A player can opt for the Charity of the Month, as well. Every three months, an email will be sent to players with a break-down of the money they have raised.

After I got familiar with all the behind the scene details I felt a strong urge to play some bingo there. I chose a 90-ball bingo room called Bazinga – probably because its name. The card price was €0.01 and there’s no other way but to buy and play with a maximum number of tickets… or strips, as you like. Aberrant Software offers a bit different bingo variants so it’s quite a pleasure to mix things up occasionally. In the games I played today I was the luckiest in the first rounds. There were a few games where I had to share my winnings with other players and that affected the amount I won, of course. In those cases I would win between €0.5 and €1 per round. In many cases I was very close to a win but I had to stay modest. I guess that’s just a mindset when playing on this site.

My winnings were quite enough to earn a few euros but more importantly, I felt good about playing at My Charity Bingo. However, then I had to ask myself “Should you have or feel any benefits for helping someone out or supporting a cause?” After I finish the debate with myself I’ll most probably come back to play more bingo games.
