Bingo Avatar was the place I chose to play 75 ball bingo this week.
The first thing I noticed was how empty the rooms were. The line prize in the 90 ball room was $0.25. It wasn’t surprising with only 2 players. I went off to the 75 ball room where we were playing for the “Z” pattern. At least there was a jackpot of $101.42 is I could bingo within 15 calls. The regular prize was $4.06. I bought 24 cards at $0.25 each and the special was buy 5 get 2 free. 15 calls came and went and I was nowhere. After 30 calls I still had 5 to go.
All I can say is that everyone else in that room must have been doing as poorly as me because I waited for O61 for about 6 calls. It was finally called and I won! I hit that big red claim button to claim that $4.06 like it was $406.
With my new found lucky feeling I stayed for another game but bought the max 48 cards. The prize was $8.94 for the X1 pattern. Guess what. I won that too. I barely even waited. Now if only we could get these prizes up. The next game was for the Taurus pattern with a prize of $0.50.
Despite my luck at Bingo Avatar but I was spending more on my tickets than the prizes were worth. This was where I made a fatal mistake as far as bingo goes. I stopped myself before things got any worse. My experience was bitter sweet.
You win some. You lose some. In my case I won and lost at the same time.
