Mecca Bingo Review

Jan 20, 2012

After a loss on slots or any other casino games I like to wind down with a few games of bingo. This was the case after I played 50 Lions at Mecca Bingo. Bingo seemed like a good idea to kick back and relax.

So I’ve been on a bit of a Mecca Bingo kick. After my loss on 50 Lions, I went over to the bingo section. There were some nice prizes in the Deal or No Deal room. It was over £300 for the full house. There were just over 100 roomies. I prefer smaller groups of players but that’s just not going to happen at a giant like Mecca.

I purchased 17 cards at 50p each and waited for the game to begin. Chat is so busy at Mecca. I can’t follow what’s going on in there. It disappears as you try to read it. I was one away for the one line prize. I just missed it. Then we were on to two lines. I just missed that prize too. I think it was just over £140 or so and it slipped right through my fingers.

I might as well cut to the chase and tell you that I lost the full house prize too. The player won something like £349. The unique thing about the Deal or No Deal room is that the full house winner has a box containing additional prize money. The banker offers the player a certain amount for their box. All roomies vote whether it’s a deal or no deal. Taking our votes into consideration, the player makes their deal. In this case he made a deal and tacked on another £24 or so to his prize.

So much for winding down, I was on edge with those kinds of prizes at stake.
