Update: Online Lottery in Oregon at a Standstill
ORcade has to wait due to governor's concern

Somewhat of a setback has been reported this week in the launch of an Ontario's online lottery operational website titled ORcade, mostly due to the state governor's concerns that the enterprise could impact the state's youth.

Hence, the site's launch had to be postponed, it has been stated by Lottery Commission Chairman Steven Ungar and Lottery Director Larry Niswender, who added: "We believe that it is prudent to hold off implementation of the ORcade website until it is further reviewed by experts.

"These efforts will be focused on assuring all Oregonians that the Lottery is not intentionally or unintentionally targeting anyone under 18 years of age."
