Bingo Winner of New Car Nowhere to Be Found
William Hill gave away a car a day in one of their greatest promotions ever. All cars that is, except for one sitting on the low loader ready for the trip to Aberdeen .

The £6,000 Fiat Panda drew media attention as a high volume of players tried their luck at the site. Scotland had three lucky winners that had to be accompanied by licensed drivers because they didn't have a license of their own.

William Hill's spokesperson Tony Kenny commented: 'You couldn't make it up – we had the vehicle ready on the low loader for the trip to Aberdeen .

'But then we failed to locate the winner a lady called Shona – who has the somewhat unusual internet nickname of Big Momma.

Management at the site went to lengths to try and find the winner of the brand new car, William Hill's Aberdeen district manager Ian Macdonald grabbed a megaphone and began calling for her on the city's streets. Macdonald added: 'In all my years in the business I've never had such a big winner fail to turn up. Never in my entire career have we had to do anything like this.'

Perhaps the megaphone call on the streets should have sung the tune to “Ma Ma Ma Sharona, Ohh you make my motor run, my motor run”. The mystery bingo winner and the mysterious Sharona may at last be solved.
