Bingo Association Announces New Chairman
The Bingo Association announces a new Chairman. Mark Jones, The Managing Director of Mecca Bingo, will be filling the role as announced Wednesday. Jones joined the Rank Group in 2009 taking on the position of Managing Director for Mecca.

He will now fulfill his responsibilities for both roles. Mecca Bingo has been a member of the Bingo Association and they have manage to build a strong reputation in the industry.

Jones says he is “delighted at his new role” when commenting on his newly appointed position. Also, his attention will be focused “to continue the Associations campaign to secure a fairer tax deal for bingo and work further towards changing people's perception of the industry.”

In 2009, Brain Mattingley was named Chairman but he has since had to relinquish the title due to scheduling and commitments involved in his work as Chief Executive Officer of 888 Holdings PLC.

The Chief Executive of the Bingo Association, Paul Talboys, commented on the newly appointed Chairman, Mark Jones: “Brian's contribution to the Association is greatly appreciated and I have really enjoyed working with him. The industry faces numerous challenges, specifically in relation to the securing a fair tax regime. Mark's experience in the leisure industry will be an immense asset toward navigating the road ahead."
