New design includes mobile facilities
The latest developments in the New Zealand Lotteries include their website design overhaul which resulted in the introduction of mobile facilities.
According to the company Chief executive Wayne Pickup, the new site has the capabilities for a much easier navigation, enabling users to easily access its Lotto games and find results.
He also assessed: "Mobile devices are becoming New Zealanders' preferred way of getting online, with smartphone penetration rates now estimated at more than 40 percent of the New Zealand population.
"We need to reflect customer shopping trends, so we've designed MyLotto Mobile especially for smartphone access."
It was added in the NZ Lotteries' statement that on the new site, customers can "easily buy tickets, check results and access their stored 'favourite numbers'" and that online sales of Lotto tickets currently comprise five percent of all sales, with 200,000 currently registered users of NZ designated mylotto mobile site.
