The reward for information regarding the shooting of Kim Hua Flournoy at a bingo hall has been increased by Jacksonville, FL police.
Police have a hunch that 65-year-old Hua Flournoy was the target of an armed robbery but was shot and killed outside the TNT Bingo on Sunday evening.
Police are viewing security camera footage from the property for any evidence.
The suspect is believed to be an African American man who left the scene in a white or silver Dodge or Chrysler 4-door sedan.
Hua Flournoy's family released a statement: "The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Kim, or 'Nancy' as she was known to some, was our loving mother and with the birth of her first grandchild became an even more devoted grandmother. We will miss her dearly. We ask that anyone with information please contact the Jacksonville Police Department or Crimestoppers."
Crimestoppers Chairman Joe Yannessa announced that a friend of the victim's family have put up additional monies to fund the reward with the Onslow Crime Stoppers program.
'This is in addition to the Crimestoppers customary reward level of up to $2,500.' Yannessa said. 'Including the match reward offered by Jacksonville Police Department (up to $2,500), this brings the total possible reward amount to $15,000 for information leading to the arrest and apprehension of the suspects in this case.'
The investigation is still ongoing.
