There's nothing like the convenience of playing online bingo but sometimes you have to go to the bingo hall. A day spent out and about ends perfectly with an evening of bingo. Ask any bingo player and they will tell you.
Don't we all wish that there were some strategy to help us improve our bingo game? There are times when we spend more on the bingo tickets and extra games than we are able to win back. In my case, this happens more often than not. Winning a line in a 90-ball bingo game once in a while just doesn't seem to cover our bingo expenses.
After a day of ladies lunching and shopping, we found ourselves in front of the bingo hall. To our delight we were just in time for the early session. The first side game was a full house. It was a unique in-house game where each number was red, yellow or blue. Sometimes you get a feeling that you will or won't win. This evening was a “won't” for me. The girls and I sat at the table and moaned over how poorly we were doing. One complained that she was miles away while another griped that the players on the electronic bingo machines always win. The bottom line was that not a one of us was anywhere in the same ballpark as a win.
Break time came quicker than we expected and it was time for side games. We played the entire break and spent cash hand over fist. I managed to win $5 and soon became the envy of all my friends. Who knew such a small win would create jealousy? What's this? It seemed that there was a bit of competition among our table.
The second half of the bingo was free from people watching, laughing, talking or anything else that wasn't complete and utter focus on the numbers. It seemed that some healthy competition added a fire underneath us all. You don't get this type of atmosphere playing online. Sometimes you need to make a special trip to the bingo hall.
Even with all the bingo competition among the ladies, I was the big $5 winner.
