This week's launch of the Bingo World Android app by Playsino on Barnes & Noble's e-reader product NOOK attracted a lot of publicity as this is the first bingo game to exploit NOOK's recently presented in-app purchasing system.
"We are leveraging our social gaming platform that lets us extend synchronous, multi-player games like bingo and poker to computers and smartphones, as well as tablets like NOOK HD and NOOK HD+," Playsino's chief executive officer Alex Kelly said about the recent release.
"By pooling players across all devices, the game experience is dramatically better and allows us to launch games which are incredibly compelling from day one. Additionally, players can start playing on one device and log in to their same Bingo World account from another device, allowing for continuous cross-platform play," Kelly concluded.
Further widening its product network, Playsino announced earlier this month the launch of its poker product on Facebook.
