There are many stigmas that come with bingo and its players but to the women out there, do you feel that you're expected to like bingo simply because you're a woman? When you get in a fight with your significant other, does he say "oh why don't you go play some bingo"? I have to wonder if women like to gamble they are automatically thought of bingo players. Is there a sexist aspect to the game?
There may have been a time when I completed avoided the game simply because I didn't want to fall into that category but ultimately I gave in to the cliché. There are far too many amazing online bingo sites to get caught up in stereo types. Yes, the promotions are often geared toward women but this doesn't stop the male species from taking part.
Sure I play bingo, my mother played bingo, her mother played bingo and so on. So, the next you encounter this silly theory about women and bingo just embrace it because it's very likely that behind every bingo playing woman there is probably a bingo playing man!
