A recent report was published regarding Wyoming's state lottery over the weekend. Surrounding states represent pressure to the state of Wyoming as it attempts to compete for gambling income.
The article from South Dakota's Aberdeen News reads:
"Wyoming law specifically prohibits scratch tickets and video lottery, which are two of the three game categories offered by the South Dakota Lottery.
"But the Wyoming lottery's Internet site (http://www.wyominglottery.com/) currently shows links to other forms of online gambling including poker, blackjack and lotto offerings from other states and internationally."
South Dakota lottery official Joe Willingham responded with plans to introduce additional scratch cards this fall along with bigger prizes.
