Danish Klasselotteriet Releases First Game Since 1753
Over 260 years ago, on June 29th, in 1753, a Royal Orphanage in Denmark was given the go ahead to operate a lottery, which has become known as Klasselotteriet. It is regarded today as Denmark's oldest lottery, and is considered one of the oldest in the entire world.

Having spent the last couple hundred years under the radar, the company has just announced that it has launched its first new game since its establishment back in the 1700s, titled Genera Network's Nabor geolottery.

Translated to the 'Neighborhood Lottery,' it is inspired by Genera's patent-pending Nabor concept. It entails a simple process for individuals to participate. Participants will use their home address to play, and a sole winner will be selected in the form of a raffle for the main prize. Additionally, smaller prizes will be awarded to players in possession of tickets, based on their home address as well. A select few of those who live closest to the main winner will receive prizes as well.

At this time, the game has already been picked up by Finland's Veikkaus, and Norwegian operator, Norsk Tipping, in addition to a series of Scandinavian operators.

Chief executive of Klasselotteriet, Elisabeth Rask Jorgensen, stated, “We are, without doubt, delighted to once again make history in the Danish market, and we are proud to announce this brand new game based on modern technology.”

Genera Networks plans to launch two new partners before the end of 2016, according to chief executive, Maria Sandell.
