Cozy Games Sells to GVC Holdings
We’ve got big news regarding Cozy Games, and we think it’s something you’re going to want to become acquainted with. The online bingo operator, which serves as one of the big four on the market, housing a number of sites under its umbrella brand. We’ve just learned that the operator is now under new ownership. It is believed that the sudden change in the reigns is due to recent amendments to taxation guidelines and bingo bonuses. It has officially been sold to GVC Holdings, with Cozy brands such as 001Bingo and WOW Bingo now featuring licenses from the UK Gambling Commission, under the name, ElectraWorks Limited, a GVC-owned company.

There is still a lot to be seen from the recent transition, and it remains unclear whether licensee terms will result in its site brands being unsuccessful, especially due in part by the whirlwind of changes the online bingo realm has seen in the last few months. Major changes have already come into play at sites like Buddha, Payday and Santa’s Bingo, which are soon to see their demise.

Only two Cozy networks remain, including Best Bingo and the Live Bingo Network. The prediction is that the two will ultimately amalgamate to save on cut down on added expenses.

What should players expect from the changes? There will be few noticeable difference, at least not in the immediate future. However, we encourage users who are part of the GVC network to check frequently for any emails regarding modifications in T&Cs.
