Deal or No Deal (DOND) is a TV game show that originated in the Netherlands reaching International fame and is now broadcasting throughout the world. There are several versions of this popular game depending on what region it is televised but the main concept is the same; picking the right box/suitcase. DOND went on hiatus after a 5 year run in the US where the grand prize was $1,000,000 hidden within one of the 26 suitcases. The show was cancelled in 2009 but continues to air re-runs today.
In the UK it is still famously popular as one lucky contestant battles it out for a chance to win the top prize in 22 identical sealed red boxes ranging from 1p to £250,000. It is a battle of raw courage, nerves of steel and daredevil risk going up against the mysterious banker with only one question ever asked 'deal or no deal'? Playing round per round and hoping to avoid the Power Five picking the right boxes is paramount. The contestant doesn't know until the last round when two final red boxes remain and have been opened if they have made the best deal or not with the banker.
DOND has reached such acclaim that online bingo sites have their own version incorporating 90 ball bingo into the mix and players are taking to it like a duck to water. The popular Bingo version stays in line with the original concept requiring sheer guts and bravery. Each red box contains a different cash amount that is flipped over revealing the prize with every bingo number called. When a player claims a Full House the DOND feature begins. Bingo roomies participate by voting as to whether the winning player should keep one of the remaining red boxes or take the bankers box. The ultimate decision is up to the player as the momentum builds up as each second goes by. It takes intuition and luck to pick the box with the most cash.
The success of Deal or No Deal Bingo has been enormous with a large following of players in one of the most exciting, heart racing, and nail biting Bingo games to hit the online gaming industry. The thrill of DOND has swept across other gaming venues with Scratch Cards and Deal or No Deal Slots. If playing Bingo is your kind of game and Deal or No Deal is your favorite TV game show you found a winning combination that promises an unforgettable experience of unmatched adventure, courage and big cash up for grabs.
