How many time have you gambled, lost and walk away feeling guilty, thinking about what you could have done with the cash just blown on Bingo, Slots or Casino games? Oh sure we try to make up for it, or so we think we do by cancelling that dinner date or buying lots of ramen noodles in place of those juicy stakes at the grocery store convincing ourselves we were going vegetarian anyway!
We recently added Hunky Bingo to LBB and we thought our members would be interested in some extra insight into the man candy…er uh…brand. Take your eyes off of the manly men on Hunky for just a moment to say hello to Mack at the newer sister site, Zinger Bingo. Mack is the macaw that welcomes players to this tropical gambling destination. Both powered by Dragonfish, each site offers great things in terms of bingo and slots as a result of the multi-software platform. We'd like to thank Greg of Hunky and Zinger for taking the time to answer our questions.
The player looks to the caller at the podium attempting to will the hopper to release the right ball. It's the end of the night cover-all, biggest prize of the evening, and she hasn't been the one to call, 'BINGO,' on anything yet tonight. She is actually a little surprised that nobody has called it yet, especially since she has needed B-12 for the last four numbers that were called. It seems that the caller is taking forever between numbers, but finally another ball is drawn from the hopper and the caller appraises it and says, 'B,' her hopes go up for a second as this is at least the letter she needs, but the caller follows it up with, '13.' "BINGO!" "Damn," she mutters to herself, "I needed that to be twelve."
We were able to catch up with Katie for a chat about Katie's Bingo, which she runs with her husband Matt. Yes, we know it's another Dragonfish powered brand but it's anything but common because the owner is a real live bingo player with a passion for the game and its social aspects. She dishes on what it's like to run her very own bingo site, her favorite games, the fun design, promotions and much more. Having just launched in March 2016, the concept of 'By players, for players' immediately shines through. A big thank you to Katie for taking the time to open up to our members. She also wanted to give you these…xx. Haha!
In an effort to give our members a closer look at some of your favorite bingo brands, we were able to score an interview with LBB Site of the Month Bingo Hall and sister sites Bingo for Money, Bingo Canada, Instant Bingo, South Beach Bingo and Vic's Bingo. Each of these brands are US friendly and also welcome players from many other parts of the world. They were willing to discuss everything from the largest jackpot ever won, withdrawal limits, their items in the LCB Shop and so much more.
There are two games where the odds are pretty much stacked against the player. One is Keno. The other is the lottery or more specifically, the Powerball. Just think about it. Not only do you have to pick five precise numbers -- you must add a Powerball number to it to complete the wager. Real gamblers steer clear of Keno and the Powerball except in extreme cases, like the phenomenon that now exists in a jackpot that could touch $1 billion. Am I going to buy a Powerball ticket? Before I answer the question, let me tell you a story. Some years ago, I worked for a lively newspaper in Lake Park, FL. called Weekday. It was published by John Carroll, a man with a wicked sense of humor who kept getting me in trouble with our readers by the assignments he dealt out to me.
A prognosticator is basically someone who can see the future -- or thinks he can. When I worked as Associate Editor for LottoWorld, a national lottery magazine based in Naples, FL., I met a lot of prognosticators who worked for our magazine. They lived in various parts of the country and used various methods including computers to keep track of hot and cold numbers for state lotteries, Power Ball and other legal drawings. My main responsibility was to interview major lotto and lottery winners. One of my interviewees was a college student from Utah who won $80 million and who guested on the David Letterman Show.
Are some people -- perhaps all of us -- destined to win at one point or another in our lives? Before you dismiss this as a crackpot thought, let me offer you some evidence that suggests a higher power than ourselves determines the outcome of certain events. I'll begin by relating a true story that occurred in Florida some years ago. I was working as associate editor of LOTTOWORLD, a national lottery magazine published out of Naples. It was a fun publication to work for and it paid well.
For those of you that have come to know the uniqueness of the webcam functionality associated with BingoCams, please enjoy our interview with Vikki about this brand as well as the latest brand, Bright Bingo.
Comedian Redd Fox was the kind of performer Las Vegas casino owners loved to see come into town. The late stand-up comic, television star and actor could draw the people into whatever showroom where he was the head-liner. Before and after his performance, he would head to either the Keno lounge or one of the table games. There while fans crowded around him, Fox would bet thousands of dollars on a single Keno card or on a Blackjack hand. Fox loved the kind of action the casinos gave him.
Just about everyone in America has played the lottery at one time or another. Americans are willing to invest a couple of dollars on the Powerball, especially when the jackpot hits the $50 million mark or more. A decade or so ago I went to work for a magazine called LottoWorld. It was based in Naples, FL. and my Managing Editor was a sweet guy named Barry Miller, a veteran newspaperman who had worked for some of the best newspapers in America.
